Stroboscopy Diagnostic Workshop for ENT’s and SP’s – Melbourne (2019)

This workshop incorporates lecture and practical hands-on exposure to laryngeal videostroboscopy from a teaching faculty of Laryngologists and Speech Pathologists. Participants will learn and refine their endoscopy technique, develop their interpretation skills of laryngeal videostroboscopy and cultivate their multidisciplinary treatment planning.

Participants in this course will be able to:

• Describe the components of normal vocal fold vibration
• Demonstrate the components of a comprehensive laryngeal videostroboscopic exam
• Interpret a laryngeal videostroboscopy exam
• Make a subsequent diagnosis and management recommendations in the multidisciplinary setting
• Demonstrate basic endoscopic techniques for the use of rigid and flexible laryngeal endoscopy
